The chapel has a square layout with a triangular apse, its architectural expression is close to that of the classicist style architecture. The most prominent feature of the structure is the rectangular portico with four-pillars. The triangular pediment includes two diamond-shaped skylights. A serrated under-cornice band is located under it, and the sides of the pediment roof are decorated with verge trims. This is a d\u00e9cor typical to Classicist architecture. Above the portico, a small turret is slightly embedded into the shingle roof of the chapel. The rectangular, two-sectional turret ends with a flat pyramid roof with a cross. Luok\u0117 cemetery chapel is covered with horizontal boards, and their joints are covered with narrower planks. To highlight the main facade, the portico plane is boarded horizontally. The side facades are divided by vertical bands between windows. The chapel windows are semi-circular arches with ornate profiled edging. The profiled edging also adorns the double-leafed, diagonally boarded chapel door. An ornate Baroque altar is in the chapel. The wide middle section is decorated with openwork carved wings, sculptures, Corinthian columns and a wide, broken-line cornice. The antependium (a decorative cover of the front of the altar) included in the Register of Cultural Values is a no less valuable part of the chapel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Luok\u0117 cemetery chapel was built in 18191.
